We are a sheet metal lamination company that uses a patented polymeric laminate to coat various sheet metals. The laminate is tailored for protective and decorative purposes in the production of food cans, aerosol cans, and more.

What We're Up To – Today, we are currently engaging with all can manufacturing companies. We are also undergoing steps and analyzing provisions for building a new factory line with improvements. Thirdly, we are crafting the foundational layers of our business, such as factory line drawings and inspection manuals. Our late interns Blayne Merchant and Sawyer Swaim from the University of North Florida played their hand in the latter. Last, and most importantly, we are undergoing efforts to ameliorate line running conditions for a production season. Our overall, eventual goal is to be the North American leader in polymeric laminates on steel & aluminum.
What We're About – Our mission is to help provide dependable and impregnable housing for food nationwide, eliminate BPA, VOCs and reduction in the energy footprint. We are contributing to the well-being of children, families, all people, and our planet's resources to improve food safety and environmental quality. We acknowledge the debate around acceptable levels of BPA and VOCs but have concluded zero ends the debate. In the coming years, we plan to expand into different subsectors of the can-making industry.
Our Policies – We are stringent in detail and prudent in production. But, with respect to our employees, one aspect that defines us is our non-leniency. Safety is a must here, as we are implementing the latest safety technology and all current regulations.
Our Team - Jim Velliky, COO, is a strong driving force of our company, providing unwavering dedication and steadfast leadership. Jim has been well acquainted with the steel industry since college, where he toiled in the heat of the steel mills in the summers. Yabuta Naomi, CEO, works alongside Jim in customer and business relations. Toyo Kohan, a Japanese company, employs our effective team consisting of Kaneko Akira (Chief Technical Officer), Motoko Yamashita (HR), and Shouta Takeguchi (Technician). Our Chief Sales Officer, Charles Lang, was previously General Manager for Toyota Tsusho. Our engineers are Jack Conner and Tim Grant, who bring unwavering focus in keeping the line in excellent running conditions.
Little History:
In 2002, Jim originally began the company as Design Analysis, Inc., embarking on the journey of entrepreneurship. In October 2016, Polytech America was formed as a joint venture with Japanese partners.
Our Mission:
PolyTech America (PTA), a joint venture between Toyo Kohan (TK), Polytech International (PTI), Sumitomo Corporation of America (SCOA), and Toyota Tsusho, is dedicated to meeting the needs of the food packaging, appliance, and construction industries, as well as other manufacturers. Our Jacksonville, Florida location will allow us to provide competitive pricing and continuous on-time delivery to our customers as we investigate a second facility in the mid-west. At PTA, we are committed to assuring our customers a consistently high quality product with each and every shipment.
